This is a 5x7" oil painting on canvas that I completed last week. This is a painting of an antique blue ink bottle and an antique fountain pen. Both of them are Pelikan and are very collectable items. I enjoy painting darkly colored glass bottles, because when I look at them closely I find many colors that I don't expect to see.
Very nice. And you're right about the colors on the bottle. I'd never thought of it before.
