Boating on Hardy Lake
Finished this 9x12" painting today of me and my niece Cara boating on Hardy Lake, Indiana. It is slightly impressionistic, because it was difficult to do alot of detail on the people and other spots. I'm planning on doing another Hardy Lake/Starve Hollow scene so this painting will have something to match up with it. Probably won't be selling them.

Candlelight
This is a 5x7" oil painting on canvas. It was an overcast day when I wanted to paint; so I thought this was a good subject to brighten my day. The arrangement was fun to come up with. I tried arranging the candles different ways, but this arrangement looked like it had the most angles and form, and I just liked it the best. The candle is resting on a white cloth napkin on top of a black table cloth. The candle holder is multicolored blue pottery. Type in "kalyne" to find my paintings on ebay for sale.

Angel of Bethesda Fountain
This is a 6x6" oil painting on masonite hardboard. Usually I paint realism, but occasionally I paint an impressionistic painting like this one. This is a painting of the top of the Angel of Bethesda fountain in Central park, NYC. In Bible times the Angel of Bethesda would trouble a certain pool of water and the first person to get into the water would be healed of their illness. According to some online sources this is one of the most popular fountains in the world. Check out my items for sale on ebay; you can search under kalyne. Sold.
