This a 6x6" oil painting on masonite hardboard with the sides painted. This isn't the style I usually paint in and I'm not sure even if it is a style, but when I saw this flower and all the colors surrounding it, I knew I wouldn't be able to catch all the detail, but I wanted to try to at least catch most of the colors.
